Meet Wendy

I am trained in Psychology and Psychotherapy, as well as Holistic Body and Transpersonal Modalities, and I have also been on my own healing & personal development journey for many years, which has taken me to India & Nepal to study Eastern Healing Approaches, Meditation & Mindfulness; as well as to many training courses over the years including Craniosacral therapy and Transpersonal Shamanic Training.


This has brought me a great understanding of the depth of the human journey and the ability to hold space for people at a deep level to facilitate and share their healing journey. It is my experience that everyone has their own inner wisdom and can find their own unique healing path.


I have worked as a Psychotherapist in Private Practice, as well as on Employee Assistance Programmes, Pieta House; and in Psychiatric and Community Settings. I have also worked for many years in Management roles in Charities in Dublin relating to Mental Health, Addiction, Homelessness, Disability & Domestic Violence. I have taught as a college lecturer on Psychotherapy Degree courses; and I have run and facilitated group personal development healing workshops and retreats.

My Approach

We are made up of Physical, Emotional, Mental and Spiritual aspects of the Self, and often Healing comes when we approach therapy holistically - including all parts of ourselves - and resolution to our life issues and a feeling of wholeness can occur. People often come to me to resolve emotional pain or to get in touch with feelings, build confidence, find new beginnings, or make big life changes. In life it can be useful to have someone to talk to who can act as a guide for your exploration, and witness your story, helping you to find deeper meaning and insight. Counselling & Psychotherapy sessions offers clients a chance to talk about their concerns in this way.


When someone feels that their childhood - abuse, neglect or simply not being seen or having their emotional experience validated - has impacted on their adult life, it can be useful to support the client to learn to reconnect with their true selves, and release and heal hurts that are stored in the body memory and in the Nervous System. This is why it can be useful to use Body & Breath approaches that support Nervous System Healing & Regulation.


For other people, a deeper search for their 'true self' can lead to wanting to explore transpersonal or Spiritual aspects of themselves which can be accessed through Meditation or Breathwork practices.
